What to Expect at Your First Appointment
Your First Visit
Your first visit is designed to give Dr. Rhee a comprehensive understanding of your oral health. Rather than beginning with a routine cleaning, we start by discussing your dental history and concerns, followed by a complete examination which includes digital x-rays, photographs, a detailed clinical examination assessing your teeth, gums, bite, esthetics, and existing restorations.
Understanding Your Dental Health
Following your examination, Dr. Rhee reviews his findings and diagnostic information with you. Together, you will discuss what is healthy, what may benefit from attention, and what may simply be appropriate to monitor over time. The goal is to give you a clear understanding of the state of your dental health so you can make thoughtful decisions about your care, now and into the future.
Your Treatment Options
If treatment is recommended, a separate consultation is available at no charge to review your options and discuss the proposed treatment in detail. Dr. Rhee will explain the recommended approach, any alternatives, and the considerations involved in each option. In many cases, treatment can be phased - addressing the most important needs first while allowing less pressing concerns to be addressed later.
